The sissy bar mounting ears uses four bolts to bolt it to the inside of the grab rails. Those bolts are 8 x 14mm, but are they 1.25 or 1.50 thread. Anybody have a loose rail laying around they can check for me?

Yup,1.25 is std pitch for most 8mm bolts jap or USA.

 I have a solo bar like yours and backrest with honda luggage rack, that is the size just different lengths are used

CA...wrong bolts, I'm talking about #27, think you're referring to #28. Anyway, picked up four of the  8x14, 1.25 pitch this morning and sold the backrest an hour later. 'Tis a good day!  cooldude
