Please guide me in the next step of my Valkyrie carburetor problems.
This is what I have done  so far ,
Removed and cleaned the carbs.
Desmogged
Rebuilt petcock

Got her all back together and cranked her up and she ran on full choke for about 30 seconds and cut off.
Had gas pouring out on each side of the carbs right where the fuel line hooks to the fuel rail, it is not the hoses.  I removed the tank and the air box to get a better look and the plastic tube that the fuel hose connects to moves side to side easily with a clicking sound when it stops in both directions.  I did not do anything to that when I cleaned the carbs.  So I am guessing that I need to replace some O'rings in there.   How hard of a job is it to separate those carbs to replace the O'rings?  And what should I be on the lookout for when attempting this.

Please advise,
Tony

Sounds like the fuel rail Orings shrunk when you had your carbs apart.   Undecided  Wait a day and check to see if the Orings have swelled since they have been bathed in gas again.   ???   I have had this happen but once those Orings are swollen again the leakage stops.  cooldude

If you have the tank and airbox off, rig up an external fuel supply so everything will be exposed for viewing when you allow gas to flow to the carbs. Also, if you haven't synchronized your carbs, this would be another opportune time to finalize your carb work. The air box will need to in place for the latter. FWIW.
