The new Cobra floorboard covers all but just the tip of the kickstand extension.  I have to really look to find it with the edge of my boot as it barely protrudes beyond the edge of the floorboard now.  Is there any adjustment I can make to make it like only an 1" longer for easier access?  ???

Get a piece of narrow pipe or PVC, slide it over the whole kickstand extension, and slowly bend it in the direction it needs to go to be more accessible to the foot when the kickstand is up.  Remember, there is a dimple in the left exhaust that the kickstand extension is supposed to fit into as well.  I have no problem using the extension on both my bikes with Cobra boards.

Thanks. I actually had thought about that solution, but I thought maybe you guys had some bitchin' way to adjust the angle of the kickstand itself somehow.  But anything like that would change the angle of the bike at rest too -- wouldn't it?  Roll Eyes

Hes talking about just the rod that you let kickstand down. Is easily bent. Not the kickstand itself so shouldnt change the angle the bike sits. Unless you bend the kickstand itself.

I have the same "problem", I simple kick up the left passenger Cobra Floorboard with my left heal, then extend the kickstand once the floorboard is out of the say; kick down the passenger floorboard when kickstand is fully extended.  Done.

Good luck bending the kickstand itself.  (Short of a torch or a horrific get off)

No, adjusting the thin kick lever has nothing to do with the angle of the kickstand/or bike sitting on it.

Could find a piece of vacuum hose the right size to slip over the stand. I would think would be safer than PVC if you accidently catch your heel. cooldude
