I just bought the same battery about five minutes ago.This is my first experience with anything other than a wet cell battery. I hope neither of us are disappointed.

My present battery from batteries plus is an AGM, It seemed to be fine for five years use. Recently failed. Stuck in my oem until the new one gets here. Hoser

The battery linked to is an AGM type, the same as the OEM Yuasa battery. The technology is proven. Be sure to give the battery a full charge with a proper charger (as opposed to a maintainer) before installing in the bike.
