Does anyone in the Houston/Conroe area have a use for 38special ammo?  I bought +P not realizing I could not use it.  I have 3 boxes of 20 ( 60 total).

How old is your gun ?  Most made after 1960 will handle +P power ! I use it in my old S&W. You can check Mfg. web sight by model to see for sure ! That is what I did.    uglystupid2

Thanmks... not sure how old it is.  Got it in1968, but it was my ex- father-in -laws... he was a ploice officer for years before that.  Will try to look up serial number.  Just thought it was too old .

I wouldn't with an alloy frame snub; maybe 2-3 shots (only) to check for damage, then carry only, but there is risk.  It is a no no with my Smith airweight.

If you have the receipt or are known at the store, you might get an even swap for non plus P.

If return not possible, you can list on TX ARMSLIST for local sale (not at your home, in a public place).

Kiwi, if you haven't done anything yet, and still need to, I have some Aguila 158g. JHP I'd trade 50rd box for box. It's the only non- +P I have.
