We had 15 attend and were blessed with Randy and Deb's grandson attending for 15 1/4 attending
We talked about  a ride to the matchstick museum that Jim had sent a email to us wanting to know if anyone would be interested in this. Jim if you want to plan this ride some in the group  are interested in doing it. Talked about another email we got from Greg in Texas who will be in Fairfield, Iowa in May and June and would like to ride with anyone that is having a ride in that area. I will send him a email when we are doing our rides. We also talked about a rider that we know from California that will be back over Memorial weekend. Depending on what day he will be here I was going to try and plan a ride meeting at the freedom rock and then going to eat somewhere. This will probably be a last minute plan and I will send a email out. Fuzzy came up with the idea of sending letters out to some of the Honda stores about the group and trying to let people know we  would like to include them in the group and meet new Valk rides that haven't heard of us.
Thanks Randy setting up this place to eat. The food was good.

Here is a link to the Matchstick museum for you that don't know about it or want to get more information.

It is like 98 to 100 miles from DSM, depending on the way ya go.

There is a direct route that would knock off about 20 miles, but it is pretty much all 4 lane.    Personally, I like 2 laners for these kind of rides.    If I'm in a hurry to get somewhere, I run Super Slab.

PS:    I heard a rumor that Garvis Honda has sold out to Van Wall out of Perry.  He owns the Victory, and I think it is Kawasawki dealership in Indianola.   Right on the corner of Hwy 92 and Hwy 65.

Thank you !  And thank you to all that made it. Yes Van Wall bought Garvis by what sales person at Van Wall told me. Also still working on the iron butt ride looking at the 4th of July time frame. Thanks again.
