I am helping a brother with rearend service and tire change. I am out of stock on the valve stems. Jake Wilson has the 90 degree with a .500 grommet. The patchboy is a .453 grommet. I prefer the nuts on the outside. I did not write the part number down. He wants to purchase them and I do not want any Sunday suprises.

Only if you intend to launch (or stop) fast enough to bend the steel valve stems.

But rather than toss the elbows out (or use them anyway), I'd put them in the parts bin of stuff I've taken off the bike(s), that will be nice to include in the unlikely event I ever sell it. [These parts may never be used again, but what buyer doesn't like to have his seller say... Here's a box of everything I took off the bike, and every nut and bolt ] ?

Mine cannot go back on; I cut the T's off the wheels they mount on, to allow my flush-mount valve stems to point right (high side) on the bike.
