WARNING!! If you encountered a hydrolock in which you had to remove the engine and replace the rear case, you should check a few things:
1) Starter Drive Gear teeth check (this is different than the start idle gear which also commonly breaks)
2) The starter drive gear assembly housing as shown below
2b. When checking be sure to look at the wear of the dowel pins, also check the bolts for straight-ness as mine were bent.
2c. When checking assembly housing, also check the actual cast aluminum for breaking around the bolts as shown here in these photos below.
***This "assembly housing" as I referring to..is actually part of the engine block which houses the starter drive gear.***
