That was the tire I tried on DS and I didn't care for it.  I checked the "ply" rating and after having a blow out on an Avon with stiffer sidewalls and tread I will stick with the bike tire......  until I find a better tire at least.

I've been DarkSide for years and always ran the Cooper Zeon 2XS but after trashin' the last one out in 7,400 miles I went on the hunt for new meat. I put this one on and did 400 mountain miles last weekend and so far I really dig the way in hangs in the twisties. Fuzion ZRi rated 320 its a high performance directional the Cooper was rated 280.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Yes that is the exact tire I run. I love it. Sticks like glue esp in the rain. Awesome tread pattern. I have 3,000 miles on it and will have another 3,000 on it in 2 weeks. Tire is somewhere around 7" wide or so but the contact area on the road is 4 1/2". My Metz 200 mm had a 3" contact patch. So really no different. Low speed handleing is better then a bike tire. Its more round then other CT I've seen. I run a Metz front. 38-40 psi is what I run in it. I will get another K-106 when this wears out. Crazyhorse also runs this tire and likes it.

I ran that tire for approx. 30,000 miles until the bike wrecked three weeks ago. Loved the tire. It looked like it would last another 10,000 miles. I had not even run to the wear bars yet.

The only issue with these CT I see is that I need to schedule bearing maintanence instead of just doing itwhen the tire wears out.

Sounds good. I was told however that that tire is a harder compound. Maybe a rougher ride but more mileage. As posted later I'm looking at the Dunlop z1 Star Spec. Maybe now. I liked the soft ride of the Toyo. And looking to compare to it. Trying something new and cheaper than Toyo. Thanks

This is number two hankook and have no complants. My first CT was a bridgestone the hankook was much better and less money.
