Bags and lids are full, luggage on the cargo rack, and rain gear and helmets are on the hitch rack. Shipped out 75 lbs worth of camp gear already. Leaving at noon for Sturgis. Staying the night somewhere in the middle of Iowa on US 20 tomorrow. Got resv in Winner SD for friday night so we are taking a nice gentle backroad ride. Found out some friends are going out also but their truckin it so they won't leave till friday. He might stay with us but he's not sure yet. Going to meet up with Valkhound at the FTS for a concert or two. Going to hit all the biker bars this year. No worries tho, I got 2 passes for 'Da Bus' They pick ya up at the camp ground and drop you off in town or other destinations. Then they return ya back to the camp grounds. Getting back to the tent is on our own! See ya all on the 9th when we return!

I always thought it was "Sturgis OR Bust" instead of "Sturgis 4 Bust"..... but I bet there are some nice looking Busts there just the same.    Smiley

Good luck. Ride Safe.  Have Fun.......

I passed Fudgie and Kit on Highway 20 just east of Sioux City Iowa. I gave him a call when we stopped for road construction.  He called back a few minutes later, he was gassing up at a Shell station.

Sorry we couldn't hook up but I needed to be in Iowa City to move in my son Mike at the University of Iowa.

My buddies and I had a great four days in Hill City.   Not sure I could handle the large crowds.  I have  to deal with crowds where I live all the time.
