I would pick the General, followed closely by the Potenza.

I am in agreeance. The Dunlop is not symetrical. I have a tire that looks like it came off Grandmas Buick so I might not be the best person to ask

congrats on going darkside! we have been there for 6 years now. Had great luck with bridgestone and goodyear tires, just remember to match up your pattern with your front tire(as close as possible) so you won't get the "wiggles"

"Whats your thoughts on this one?"
Not a symmetrical tread pattern. A directional, symmetrical tread minimizes the road defect tracking that some experience.

Try the Goodyear TT, I have more than 25,000 on mine and love it, will replace it with the same but it looks like it will go a good bit further right now.

Just went to the Darkside this past Wed. My Choice came down to the General you got listed and GYear Triple tread and I went with the GYear. Put on nearly 800 miles since then. Think I got it broke in. I am nearly broke in as well. LOL 36 psi seems to be the magic number. Getting to like the darkside more and more.

I am running the Goodyear Triple Tread since spring 14,000 miles so far. It still looks like new and handles like a dream. The patten is like the Altimax that you are looking at.

Rainman... Of the tree choices you posted, 1) General Altimax 2) Potenza 3) Wouldn't own a Dunlop. Have you considered the "Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread" as others have mentioned, It's proven in the Valkyrie community.
