Thanks to all the people who gave me advice w/my clutch.  I tore it apart and ordered what I needed from HDL. Parts came in yesterday and I put it back together. Everything went smooth and I think it works better than it ever has. If you can stand the down time I suggest you tear your clutch apart before ordering. I got off easy. Almost all of the revits were broken off but there were no groves or problems with the clutch basket, I almost ordered one before the tear down, saved a little over $200.

While I had her down I replaced the shifter seal and the rear wheel dampers, made a big difference in drive train slope. The whole deal took me about 1.5 hours to tear her down and 3 hours to put it back together. I had help, a close friend who has spent a good deal of his life working on large trucks, and he has owned motorcycles for most of his life also.

My friend has taken apart and put together many clutchs on trucks, cars, bikes, smowmobiles, etc. He laughed when he saw the plate that the rivets fell out of. He shook his head and said, What dumb--- designed this. He loves the valk as a bike though.
