That really sucks. :'(
The man had a great vision of a really fun place to ride to & spend an afternoon or even a whole day. I had dealings with his daughter Shelly when I had my Triumph Rocket, she is a real sweetheart. I'm sure she is heartbroken. My prayers go out to her & the rest of the Rossmeyer family.
He will be missed!

Might want to wait a while to blame the "cage," as per the original post.

Further reports say a pickup pulling a trailer was turning off a 2 lane highway onto a dirt road, and Rossmeyer tried to pass him at that time.

IF that is the fact, then it was NOT the cagers fault.  It would be Rossmeyer's fault.  If a cage is going slow, and there is a road there to turn on, even if dirt, you better assume the vehicle is going to turn, and you better not be passing it.

I agree that it is terrible.  I just want to correct the "it was the cagers fault" statement.

Some accidents are the mc's fault.
