just got my Jake wilson valve stems.  nice looking piece of hardware.

Question is what do you use for "locking" the nut in place?  I know you need to use a preparation agent of sorts for locktite when applying to stainless, these say chrome.

So what do my friendly valk owners advise?

Never thought about using any kind of locking agent on them,,,,  just the tension caused by compression of the rubber grommet seems to be sufficient to hold things in place..??

Lightly snug. DO NOT over tighten. When the tire s are changed I check them over. They have NOT loosened up at al. RIDE SAFE.

Just tighten snugly, DO NOT over tighten, as previously stated.   cooldude

I recently found my front one to be leaking because I didn't tighten it
enough, and I had to pop the tire off the bead with a clamp and re-tighten
the valve stem.

I'm pretty sure you could tighten it enough to deform the grommet, and that
would be bad.

My leaker seemed OK at first, but I could spin the valve stem all the
way around pretty easily.

Now that it is tightened and leak-free, it does not spin (easily)...

Hopefully you got the ones that have the nut on the outside and the flange on the inside.  If these loosen up, you can snug it back down from the outside.  Smiley
