Sorry to say, I'm not going to make this one. Life is what happens when you're making other plans.

I'm planning on it, however the weather prognosticators are calling for a 40% coverage of liquid sunshine. If they happen to be right for once, I'll stay home.

Not going to make this event.  I am in need of tires, just received the rear Austone now I need to find time to install front and rear. Need to do the rear end service as well. I know this is a great time and wish I could've gotten everything done before this party. Enjoy, should be a great weekend for riding.

Gil,
Shea would like that, but, she said she will wait for me to get my tires installed. Maybe we can make the next one.

Crystal and Gil are back home.  We logged only 84 miles.  Temperature was between 78 and 68 as we traveled.  No rain, but cloudy.  Arriving at the Zephr-Valk ranch we quickly killed a 3' tall orange cone and met a bunch of other Valkyrie riders.  Security was tight and only Valkyries we present.  The hosts, Jerry and Sherrie, escorted us to our private parking spot and the fun began.

A search for Yupper-Do's turned up anchovies, Billy Boy smuggled them in.  James stood lookout as Bert collected Valkyrie parts for his next bike.  A new visitor, Bob, just smiled.  Grumpy shook hands, with no casts.  Bill will be back to riding soon.  Larue and Jack joined in and our food was soon ordered.  Greg and Sandy mingled and checked for missing parts on their new baby.  Stories, food and drinks then soon the time came to leave.

And later there may be pictures.

Thank you all, especially Jerry and Sherrie.

We are back home in Ellenton and already sad that the week off spent at the cottage is over Embarrassed. However we were able enjoy a couple of nice rain storms sitting on the poarch and get lots of work done on the cottage and the valk. We were able between the storms to get in four excellent rides and a car trip up to Greg and Sandy's place and the four of us going out for a nice diner at the Cove. We took the bike up and met up with Jeff Parker at the lake Harris Hideaway for lunch and chat. Now to top it all off having such a good turn out on our last day at the cottage.  I feel the pizza hut idea worked well and sure made it easy on Sherry and I.  Thanks to all that came it was a great time.

cooldude cooldude Thanks to Sherry & Jerry for hosting todays event. The pizza worked out very well for everyone and plenty of beverages, Thanks again!
For those unable to attend you were good fodder for gossip....just kidding! We indeed miss those not attending.
Flsix, Jeff, that's a pretty fir ride down your way to Naples. Looks like you made good time home!
Flask had his bike SuperValked, looks sharp!
Great seeing everyone together again; A comfort among folks reminding me of my high school days, when everyone got along, the topics have only matured through each of our life experiences.
I took a few photos but due to my lack of patience with taking photos with a phone, please hang in there....
I have mastered the taking of peoples backs..

Some may recognize the silver/flame ride of Bob's that lead the Ocala Forest ride at Bert's.

This was scary, I think Gill & Bob were trying to figure out how to mount 2014 Valkyrie radiator horns on my steed.

Mick Jagger going over the chorus line with the girls. Ohhh, that's Billy!
"Please to meet you, hope you guess my name."

Great to see Bill back with us!

Jerry sez, "I was so hungry after batting the dog sheet out of the tree, I almost ate my own finger.
 Now where's that pizza man?"

I'd type out a list in attendance but, if I omitted someone the shadow of error would be cast. So it was a fantastic gathering,
great seeing everyone and look forward to our next social.
Until then, ride safe and laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll).

Well, I just got home from work and ready to call it a day but wanted to check in here first.

What an AWESOME day, 130 miles round trip for me.
Larue and I got there a little bit past 12 and left around 3:15, with just enough time for me to get home and get ready to head out to work  Sad

It was great to see Grumpy, that guy does not miss a beat, all banged up as he was and he was still looking to get into another project with his new bike. It was great talking to you Bill.  cooldude

I like all Valks but some of my favorites are Gil's black/yellow and I really liked how Rick's supervalked turned out. I also like Larue's ride but I have to lead cause all his shinny chrome blinds me when I follow him  2funny just kidding brother, I'll ride with you anytime of the day  Grin

Greg showed us his new acquisition and I was teaming up with Larue, I was the distraction as Larue was going to try and get some of his shinny parts off but it did not work    Evil

The ride home was great, I love riding that side of town, nice open wide back roads.
The phat lady is running great and she kept asking for more but I am trying to follow Billy's example and behave myself.  Wink

THANK YOU JERRY AND SHERRIE, you guys are awesome hosts and the pizza thing, I think it was a great idea. Really nice of you guys to have a bunch of us at your place one more time.

I am still trying to get everyone's names straight, I am a little slow when it comes to that but I will get there.

Jeff Parker and John Schmidt, missed you guys but there is always a next time.

Be safe everyone, c u all later

Thanks Sherrie and Jerry. Had a great time as always.   cooldude  Had to give Sherrie first

Well I'm about to get back on the phat gurl and take her for another ride. Hope to see all next
week. Peace and out.   crazy2

Thanks for the pics James.  I was thinking about you all as I tried to decide whether to ride in the cool Ohio weather.  I did take a short ride.  Don't want the old girl to get rusty.  Look forward to following your activities all summer and seeing you in the fall.

Great pictures, that valet parking attendant is a bit questionable though. Grin  I could have tried to make the trip, but by the time the "happy pills" kicked in I would still be wandering around the state trying to figure out where I was and who I am. Still hoping for next Saturday. Sure do miss the good times with good people.  cooldude
