OK, time to get serious about replacing this broken part.  It's been almost a year..lol.  Guess the "temp" job worked fine as it still works.

Anyway, Honda Direct I couldn't find anything under the part number (which I found doing a search here).  I did find one listed on eBay.  Anyone know any manufacturer sites to buy the replacement (and yes, I know we have to buy the whole assembly).

Also, are there any "nicer" replacements for the housing more chromed or something?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I bought mine from HDL, you can get the chrome housing from J&P and the swap of internals is no big deal

I went to HDL, the Valk doesn't show up in their selection menu any longer...except the new 2014.

They are on this page from RonAyers.  I buy from them all the time.  It can probably be found on HDL's site, but I don't frequent it...

Did anyone suggest the IS model mod?

This is to change the starter switch to a relay, so you don't have the high current going through the switch any longer which is what causes the part to melt.
