Ok for the first time I am forcing myself to look at the new Valk without being negitive as I have form first sighting. In doing so here is my questions/thoughts. Start with black or maroon then Russell or ultimate to make a comfy seat with a regular Valk type backrest. Two up for us! Hard saddle bags. Give it a two tone paint job. I would add a cream color to black or maroon. Chrome finder tip from interstate. Add a windshild as close to the tourer as possible. Highway pegs and lastly can we take that bottom cover thingy off and expose the pipes? Would it work?

Probably would work Jerry. So let's see..new paint job, new seat w/ backrest, hard bags, fender tip, new tourer type windshield, highway pegs and finally some body mods. You would definitely gain some technological innovation, 1800 engine and EFI. It still wouldn't, to me anyway, be as nice as the beautiful, classic I/S you have now. Just my opinion.

I Am Not So Fond Of The New Valkyrie Due To The Lack Of Chrome From The Performance Aspect ,I Would Like To Ride One , Then I Will Decide On Ownership.

Am still in the minority here ! I like the new beast!
After sitting on one over in Daytona I still like it as well. It has that aggressive look and stance just like the Gen 1 Valk does. Then again I am one for the naked, no bags look, and most aren't so that's probably the difference.
Would I buy one? Would have to ride one and ride a Rocket III as well then decide. Maybe throw in that new 1300 as well.
