Went for a spirited ride to work, chilly (40 degrees or so) ...45 Miles mostly interstate @ 75 (ish) MPH.
When I stopped at work... I noticed a few Dime sized drops of oil under my motor...coming from around the cluster of rubber tubes...
I know... not much to go on...
I did not get a chance to inspect above and forward of this for a possible source... but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Drain the vapor collection tube (use rubber gloves when doing this). Do you see water or oil pouring out?
If it's oil...remove the tank, open the airbox up and see if there is a buildup of oil residue inside. Should you find some, remove the airbox then investigate the smog plumbing. It sounds like you're getting oil vapor through the PAIR and air-cut valves, which is then condensing in the airbox and draining out.

Were the droppings from the right side or left side? Right side probably "drool" as mentioned above. Left side could have been coolant overflow. ???

Right Side.
If it is oil vapor... will a desmog fix this?
What is the down side to just cleaning this.. what is causing this...etc..
Lets assume it is the oil vapor in the PAir valves...what next?
Never Drained the Drool....

AND if you do get oil from what appears to be the left side check the shifter shaft seal. Drain the snot/drool tube like others have mentioned. RIDE SAFE.

Got that one last year... that you could smell as it hit the pipes. This was different. Thanks for the replies. Gonna drain the drool at lunch and go for a ride... I feel a sickness coming on...More of a vision problem. I just don't see myself coming in for the rest of the day.....

The drool tube normally has a plastic plug in it.......so if you have never drained the drool, is the plastic plug missing. If its missing, the tube has been draining itself and is in no need of draining. If the plug is installed, why is it leaking now..... And if that plug is missing it needs to be replaced! Drain the drool at least every couple of months. Pair of pliers and a couple of minutes. Don't do it on your clean concrete driveway.

Looks like a slight overfill on the oil.
Drained the drool.
Checked the oil level and is even with the chrome dipsrick line. Should be slightly lower than this line.

A friend of mine that put 4 liters in instead of 4 qts had a leaking/dripping thing like you had, so overfill can cause it.

I just dump in 4 quarts, no problems. It calls for 3.75 - 3.90 quarts, 4 ounces won't hurt it. Besides, that much remain in the bottle after you dump it in.
