My final drive flange is staying in the final drive and not letting me drop wheel any tricks on how to pry it out? Or am I doing something wrong?

I think the slot on the bottom of the black plastic ring is a
place to insert a pry tool (screwdriver or something) to work
the flange loose...

Once you get it out, you need to replace the rubber dampness. They have worn and no longer hold the drive flange properly.

Loosen the four nuts on the final drive .  Check the procedure in shop talk as I have done it many times and even help others. They will pry apart. Do a thorough inspection when you get it down.
