Is the 14' Valkyrie using some matching engine parts from the GL1800? Like all the GL1500's have some shared parts.

Share frame, engine. Probably many other parts too.

104 horsepower just isnt good enough these days. I'm pretty sure my valk is very close to that. I wont be scared to drag one of these new ones when I get the chance and will probably ruin his day.

The reason I asked (decides making this legit on topic :-), is when the FB6 came out, I felt that all the goodies on the GW is what I wanted, and they stripped it down too far.
I was going to look for a 01' GW, and do something along the lines of a Super Valk mod, and strip the bike down more to a cruiser, than with all the plastic interstate. Now maybe an engine from a 14' bolted into the GW frame is a future possibility.
However, since this would be an experimental project bike, I'm wanting one that is cheap. Maybe a barn find, or even an insurance write off, something with bent forks, as I was wanting to modify the rake there.
