I just bought a 2001 Interstate and it has the stock intercom/radio from Honda on it I think. I have read the posts on the board here and I am to dumb to understand them!  Can some one give me the part number and brand for the lower chords that go into the mounted connectors to the passenger and drivers connections to the intercom and radio?  Is there only one company (J&M) that makes them? Then can you explain to me the choices I have for connecting the lower chord to a headset for modular helmets?  Lastly I have been using Uclear 200 for our communication now.  Is there any way to make the intercom/radio Bluetooth and connect it to Uclear?

I would like the part numbers so I can shop around on E-Bay or if I see something on Craigslist I could know if it would work.

I am 61 and just got back to motorcycles last year.  I had my last bike at 14.  I have decided to stop thinking about and go do it!  Thanks in advance for the help.

Want to go cheap? You might even have some pieces laying around the house.

The 5 pin connector on the bike is a PC keyboard plug.

I used a PC to PS/2 keyboard adaptor and a 3' PS/2 cable to connect to my head set, which had a PS/2 plug. Cost, a little over $5.

You're right to look at J&M. Also look at Electricalconnections.com for a Bluetooth adapter. Go to www.GL1800riders.com and search there. The wing riders have all kinds of tips for that.

I am about to do a review on the Sena B/T intercom and sena  sm10 radio transmitter.
I bought the sena sm10  B/T transmitter and 5pin short patch cord from amazon. The sm10 has a rubber strap that holds it to the handle bars and will connect to 2 helmets and has 2 aux inputs.

So far it has worked well.
