Drove home from Kanab, Utah in the MH today and were passed by gobs of Harley's this afternoon. Guess they had a river run weekend. In addition, traffic backed up a couple of miles out of Primm and pretty much cleared up by the time we got by the solar farm. Being retired, I try to not be in weekend traffic, but we were today.

Telling my wife that when our So Cal group travels, we do not ride like some of these folk: lane splitting (I know it is legal, but I have never done) and riding too close in the group. We even had a bunch of guys passing in the break down lane on the right. Was expecting to see them pulled over by the cops.

The wind was really pretty heavy after Baker and the bikes were not enjoying the day; heck, it was tough holding the MH in my lane at times.

See ya all in a couple of weeks.

Helen and I rode the Valk to Laughlin on Friday and the wind around Kingman was merciless and the traffic wasn't much better. The guys that rode the emergency shoulder were pulled over and I assume, ticketed. Apart from that it was a great weekend, lots of people and bike watching.
