Search for info what I will need to rebuild carbs and still confused what I need to buy. What I gather I will need Red Eyes carb gasket kit, bowl gaskets, and stubby pilot screw tool. After that I'm not sure, do I need to replace the jets, if so I could not find them. I plan on replacing all rubber hoses vacuum and gas, can I just get them at Napa auto parts. I'm not planning to desmog so I don't need those parts to do so. Put a petcock kit in last year so that is good. Is there anything I left out as parts go? or I should replace while I have it apart? Any help would be appreciated, want to get it right the first time. Plan on using D Rays videos.

Why don't get the complete rebuild kit from Redeye Tech, bowl gaskets, pilot screw o-rings, vacuum caps, etc. Get the jets if you need them from Jetsrus. If you are set in tearing it down, might as well install new jets, recommend stock. If your carbs haven't been sitting for a long period of time, don't tear anything apart that does not need to be taken apart. All the vacuum lines and gas lines can be gotten at Napa or any other parts house.

You will want all soft parts (rubber, nylon, etc.) and jets are optional. If you are using spray or soaking cleaner you might consider new jets if the Girl has been sitting for a long time. Stay with stock jets unless the exhaust or airbox has been modified. Did mine over the winter, but had access to a tranny boiler, so I stayed with original jets. The stubby is great for the bench, but my fat hands can't use it once the carbs are back on the bike. I used Honda OEM except for the intake o-rings. See the parts breakdown in shoptalk and read some other riders ideas.

I just did mine.... Bowl gaskets and pilot orings and springs from Redeye.... I went with New 38 pilot jets and stock mains.....
The 38 make a difference to me, more low end and easier start on cold...

OEM 35 and 100. Lots of opinions on 35 vs 38's. I can't say since I still have the 35 slows. If the weather doesn't improve soon, I may try the 38 slows just because.
