This one looks like a candidate. Not sure how I'll read the shop manual though.

Now that's interesting, I'm a big diesel fan. Noticed a couple of simularities between the Neander and the Valkyrie, the way the engine is an intergral part of the frame and the front tire is the same size. I wouldn't mine one of those, probably way above my price heart attack level.

From a quick search on the google.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_motorcycle
I'd definitely like to play with a small turbo and one of the KLR 650 Diesels...

Yep, there's a guy near us who did his own diesel conversion on a klr. Wasn't getting all his power to ground last time we saw him, but was making progress.

John, was that $140,000 price for real?  If so, I think I'll spend my 140 on a Ferrari instead.

Close, "The price for all of this engineering is 95,000 Euro which at today’s exchange rate is $133,000"

The article says it gets about 50mpg, nice!

I get around 33mpg on my Valk.  So, if I get the Diesel and the price of gas remains around $3.50 a gallon and diesel is $3.70 a gallon, only 4,161,767 miles to break even!

Unfortunately, here is their response to my email

"sorry, the motorcycle is no longer available for sales, not in Europe nor in the USA. We stopped this project a few years ago, now focusing on the development of the worlds' first turbo diesel outboard motor."

I couldn't have afforded that price anyway.
