I bought a new battery at Cycle Clinic but forgot to ask about the warranty.  Does anyone know how long the warranty is on a YUASA motorcycle battery?

I'd say at least 3 years, but give Jim a call tomorrow and ask him.

If him no there ask Damon his brother, he'd know.

I got Cycle Clinic's phone # around here somewhere, but I can no lay my finger on it.

288-6954 ..................    found it.

Make sure you trickle charge that battery at least 14 hours before ya put it in the bike.

Why 14 hours, isn't 8-10 hours on 1.5 amps good enough?

I think the warranty is only 1 year from date of purchase though, not 3, like most batteries.

We buy all of our batteries from Interstate Battery at the shop and that is how they told us to charge their battery before installation.     That's all I was going on.

If you have a battery dealer who says differently, then so be it.   I didn't figure the 14 hours was marked in stone anywhere.

Peace
RJ.
