Another open house for the B-17... tours and rides.... A N D ....  we are going to have a special guest!!!!!  General Patton and his aides will be arriving in a C-60.

Hopefully a nice day for a ride.   cooldude

Which/what Gen Patton?  I served under #4 in 1971, it was known that his eldest, #5 was mentally incompetent/retarded (yeah, I know it's a bad description, but is what was used back then) and would never be military. #4 was the end of the Generals George S Patton. Officers of his caliber are missed.

BTW, #4 was a soldiers general, always had time to converse with the enlisted. I was told that his G'grandfather was an officer in the CSA during the civil war.

He is a living historian portraying General Patton.  ( I believe the others are no longer around?? )     ???

Yes, all the officers are gone now. I believe there was a younger brother to #5, was writing a history of the Generals, but I haven't seen it. Guess I should check Amazon.

Where's the showing?  Hooks?
