I need to replace my o rings on my intake manifolds as they are leaking badly. Two questions:
1) do i need to use a sealant on the o rings or just install them
2) will i have to do any carb adjustments or just fire her up and go?

Many thanks Smiley

 - No sealant required. Just replace old with new. I used very small amount of grease on the o-rings to make sure they stay in place.
 - Replace and ride.

Don't use any sealant. Just grease to hold in place as mentioned.

You shouldn't have to make any adjustments, unless, adjustments were made while some were leaking.

OK Here's the upgrade. Use a #123 O ring in Viton or silicone. Don't buy OEM from Honda. My Vitons are several years old and haven't ever leaked.

Yeah, I think you're right!

My OEM O-rings only lasted 12 years.

Cheap crap.
