Only you can decide whether it is worth it

I have done mine, replaced the flasher unit with an LED compatible one ( I can't see the point in using ballast resistors) and did the 2 diode mod from Chet's page cost me about £6 ($9) all in. The LED's are bright and draw less current letting the battery power important things like the engine.
I agree with what Colin says. MGM was converted to LED turns before the Trike conversion. So far I have only changed the bulbs in the Trike kit.
It is a Radiant setup. Since the Trike kit uses VTX lamps and no other turn signal, I had to use the LED in the Radiantz kit. So far no problem. This system must have a built in load equalizer and a diode to only let the circuit go ONE direction. Basically it was a plug & play. These VTX lamps are not near as BRIGHT as the single I had on MGM before converting. I haven't bothered to mess with it.
I'm also trying to get LED tail, brake and turn in the Dakota. So far, I have only been able to get one side to work periodically hooked into the truck.
Take it off the truck and they work like they are supposed to. So, somewhere in my truck wiring there is a glitch that is mirkin everything up.
I'll work on it a few more times and if it no work correctly, I send the kit back and put my EOM lamps back in. I have to get it working right by June 7, and returned by the 9th if not working. We have put a sheet load of these in cars/trucks at the shop and not a hitch. Glad it is on my truck instead of a customers. They might get pessed off.
This way it keeps me busy for a few more days......... LOL........
