I just ordered a Rifle Classic SS Windshield for my 97 Valk and I wonder if anyone has one and how they like it?

Shouldn't you have asked that question before you ordered it?

blackvalkyrie;
Are you that way too? I buy stuff all the time w/o consulting. Embarrassed
After I get tired of using the hammer, it dawns on me that I have not read the instructions! 2funny

It must be a thing with Black Valkyrie Owners. cooldude

  Hey BF:
Thanks for the info on the cruiser bar..it's now on it's way... where did you get the studded strap on your fender behind the driver's seat?
Thanks

I've got one on my 2000 tourer and I like it fine. The clamps were aggravating to tighten because the heads of the bolts are on the inside of the fork tubes and hard to get to. Very nice windshield though.

It's called a fender bib.  And like my saddlebags, it's also from Mustang.

 Undecided
I  got my rifle faring today and boy are you right!! The allen bolt head is recessed inside the mounts.. the mounts look good but for crying out loud!! I had to  remove my speedo to install the top left one and I will have to move my headlight bucket to install the top right one...lot's of swearing from me today... I'm 85% done and I must say I do like the look...funny thing is.. I've had a fairing on the bike for years and lately I've been trying to find out the brand so I could get the same one...turns out it's a rifle..just different mounts...

Before installing a HD Batwing fairing 2 years ago, I had a Rifle Classic L windshield and liked it. It was a great shield as far as optics, airflow, and rigidity. It is just a little narrower than the SS. Only reason I switched is because I wanted a radio fairing. In fact I still have it in pretty good shape if anyone is interested. I'd let it go pretty cheap since I really have no use for it...just make me a reasonable offer and it's yours.  It has some of the normal wear on it, but really not bad at all, especially the Lexan because it was replaced after I hit a deer in late 2006. So it was only on the bike for a few years.
