My wife has finally decided she likes riding with me. Would like recommendations on "in helmet"communication systems so we can talk to each other and also use with my cell phone and ipod. Recommendations of this, plus helmet recommendations for this would be appreciated as I am ignorant in this area. Thanks

I have the J&M 2003 handlebar unit and love it. it is costly but worth every penny. you get intercom, mp3 hookup and cb radio. you can get the interface cable for the cell phone. figure on paying around 800 bucks by the time it is all over. as far as helmets goes. i have 2 sets of the shoie RF-1000'S. they are full face and quite. good sound from the speakers and all day comfort. if the 2003 unit is a bit much they do have the intergrader 5 for around 100 bucks. it has all you are asking for but you have to charge the battery. go to their website you will find both. hope this helps.

Scala Q-2 also and like it. Batteries last a good full day of riding. At speed the MP-3 cuts out because of wind noise but the communications with my wife works all the time. Bluetooth connectivity with my phone also works well. It's nice when we stop for fuel not being corded to the bike.

Nolan has nice helmet w/Bluetooth (or hardwire) that can allow talking to your passenger
