Knee has slowed down the alternator work.  I finally convinced the rebuild shop that they owed us a refund after three consecutive failures.  Didn't get a full refund, but 2/3rds is better than nothing.  I'll get it rebuilt by a competent shop, then put it in.
Can't ride till the end of Feb. anyway, so I'm not in any rush.
