I can't see my tach or speedo at night safely and watch the road too. Is this a common complaint, or is it just me? Is there a cure for this problem? I did a search to no avail.

Hunt on EBay for a 194 led bulb. I used a four sided led with one led on top. It lights up the gauges very nicely. I know that this type fits, not sure about bigger bulbs.

I installed higher candle power bulbs, but, now, most are using LEDs.

It could simply be that some bulbs are burnt out. ***

What do you mean by " four sided led with one led on top"? A pic would be worth 1000 words. Thanks Brad! Normand

There is only one bulb in each instrument. I did a quick check of EBay and came across these. Item Number 371072631629. There are many listing both from the US and China. Find what you like here or go to Superbrightleds. What ever you pick will be a tremendous improvement over what you have now.

Thank you all! I ordered from Superbrightleds & I feel relieved! I'm looking foreward to my first nite ride being able to know my RPM & how fast I am going. Gary

Which one did you order? The 'Cool White' gives you the best light disbursement.

Uummmmh yeah...thought as much. I did the same thing, before I realized my mistake. The blue led lights up sporadic places in the speedo and tach. Light disbursement is uneven making it very difficult to see certain areas in the night.

You'll want the cool white. They'll look sorta blue-ish. The blue is way too blue.
