I had the inside portion of the hardware rechromed a number of years ago, looks better than the OEM version. The rest is spotless and I replaced the scratched up OEM shield with a new Clearview just shortly before mounting my fairing. I don't have the mounting brackets, used them mostly for the fairing. Any thoughts on what to ask, I've just had it packed away for 5-6 yrs. now and it's taking up space I could be using for other junk. At least that's what was suggested, no names mentioned.  Wink

It's really a very sharp looking setup, I can send some pics just don't have them at the moment.

John, there's been several in the classifieds lately.  From 250 for just the hardware, to 325 for a cut-down windshield with hardware, to 450 for a delaminated shield with all hardware.

You're results may vary.   Wink

John, if your hardware is clean/re-chromed with no rust...well you know what that hardware costs new. AND you have a new/5 year old Clearview your sitting on a gold mine.
Even at only 50% of replacement cost you are getting some good cash and providing a great deal. My Valk started as a Standard and I've got over $700.00 in the windshield.
First purchased from a member and the shield turned out to be crap, had to replace it. Add the J&M Tri-pouch for the Tourer and the Chrome bling accents it adds up quick.
Wish it was available when I was looking.

I'd say your sitting on about $600 actual value (without shipping) What you decide to ask is your business. I see a lot of crap with asking prices well over $400 for everything. Undecided

I meant to add in my original post....I'd like to not have to ship it. I know I can go to FedEx or UPS and they will pack it but that really adds to the cost. If someone wanted it bad enough and was going to InZane, I'd just wrap it up and take it with me. As long as they understand I don't have the mounts, just the windshield and the chrome hardware. Doug, your line of thinking is about the same as mine. I know the mounting hardware would be at least another $150 if bought new, but what I have here is a fine piece even without it.

I Would Have To Agree With The Others. It Should Be Worth  $400.00 To Someone That Wants A Windshield. You Can Usually Find The Lower Bracket On E-Bay For Around $50.00,But The Other Two U- Shaped Ones Are Getting Hard To Find, Especially Used. This Being A Large Item, It Would Cost At Least $50.00 To Ship. I May Take A Few Of My Extra Parts With Me To Sell While I'm In Asheville, It Might Generate More Cash For The Trip.
