I have a 98 Tourer with a Corbin seat, the mount for the passenger backrest isn't tall enough. Can someone tell me where I can get one that is about 3-5 inches taller? I needed to do it with my 99 VStar 1100 but I went to a Harley dealer and bought one that fit and did the job...is there an easy fix like that for the Valkyrie? This one hits my wife in a bad spot so I need to change it out.

Is it an OEM mount?
Also would it help if it were bigger than stock pad? If so Mustang sells a wider backrest and it is a bit higher than stock.my wife loves this one. Look at picture below.

yes it looks like a stock mount, it looks like the one on your bike, it was on the bike when I got it in 2005 and the backrest is a Corbin. What kind of backrest is yours? It looks taller than mine because of the way it is built and the mount on the back

Mine is a mustang. It also tilts forward about 4 degrees to sit your passenger up a but straighter to take the pressure off the tailbone. Wife loves it.
