While all you wonderful folks are running around in the mountains, I will be exploring the flat lands and swamps around here. Planning on Plant city bike fest Sat , then doing some riding to find some new places for a few Q's South east of here. We haven't done much in that area for a while. Seems like most of the rides are north of Tampa. I hope everyone has a great time at Inzane, I sure hate having to miss it.

Bill

BCoy found a ride similar to the Tail of the Dragon south of you called Tail of the Gecko.  Maybe that would be a "stirring ride".   Evil

Grumpy, don't bother with Tail of the Gecko. Todd and I tried that one and it was a huge disappointment. There are much better rides on the old mining roads and area surrounding Mulberry-Lithia. Jerry & Sherry turned us on to one we call "Jameson Road Loop."  Some nice gentle curves to make it fun and beautiful farm land. You can catch it off Hwy 60, using Durant Road or Turkey Creek Road.  It will take you right back to Hwy 39, which is what you'll need anyway to get back to Bikefest in Plant City.   I drew a Google map for you but it did not render correctly when I try to post the link.  See if this image helps. If you are interested and need more info, let me know.

That is great news Bill. What time are you heading over to Plant City?  Not sure if I can make it, but, I will try now that I know you will be there.   The tail of the gecko, that is funny, glad I didn't waste my time ... although it wouldn't have been time wasted because I would be catching some wind in the process. I was told about the ride from some guys at the base, they said it was a joke in comparison to the dragon ... still cool that someone named it and it registers on the internet when you look it up.
Hope everyone has a safe trip to / during / return from Inzane.
Bill

It's just so great that you are back on two wheels again Bill. I wish I was off Saturday to join you at the Bike Fest. I know the rehab has been challenging along with your new addition. Can't wait to see your new bike. God has blessed you in so many ways.

Yep, and Gary & Murphy are riding along also. We should be there between 6 and 6:30.
