Anyone taking to 95 to 26 route up to Inzane?

Contemplating leaving early Sunday AM and riding straight through instead of making it a two day ride.  Billy Boy is meeting up Sat AM on 75 at the Brooksville Hess but I don't know if I'll have benefit of leaving then.

If you're running up 95 and or want to meet up along the way, PM your contact details.

Hey Greg safe travels.  I don't like to see a post with no replies. Smiley  I suppose you may be the only one leaving on Sunday.  We are not making the trip up this time.

Awww, thanks thunderbolt.

After carefully watching the weather forecast, and a few other semi-important factors, I've decided not to go.  Had there been someone else making the one day ride up, which was part of the reason for my post, I might have still gone but would have likely stayed only two or three days.

I went to high school in Sylva/Franklin, NC, just down the road from ground zero so I was anxious to return and see how the place changed.  At the same time, I remember the storms and many week long storm periods where all we did was play inside...

I just looked at the weather forecast also.  Looks like 40-70% on the rain there and here also.  The temperatures in the daytime are much nicer though.  I hope a lot of folks do show up so the effort to get the event held in the area will have been worth the trouble.  Smiley  We spent a month in Maggie Valley last year the last of July and first of August.  Had a great time and not too much rain then.  Did I already ask you about the Mo rider?  Did you live in Missouri in a former life?  I did when I was a kid in the SE corner, the bootheel.

No, not from MO.  Daughter was looking over my shoulder and saw the F6 on a picture, she had always called the motorcycle a Mo which started back when she was first learning to speak.  When she saw it, she said, Papa, you're a F6 Mo Rider and the name stuck. Guess I should change it, my grand daughters bout call the motorcycle a Ma. F6 Ma Rider doesn't sound as snappy.

Plus 1 on the hope they have a good time this week.  Maybe next year?

That's a great story Greg. Sorry your not going to make the trip though. You have to do what's best for you.
