Was having the driver's seat and console in my truck recovered with OEM fabrics.  Went to pick up the finished product and was very well pleased.  Happened to look on the workbench of the shop and saw some of the most beautiful detailed leather work I have ever seen on a motorcycle seat.  Questioned the owner about it and he showed me his bike he had done and the work that was being done for a customer.  Was blown away by the detail and quality of workmanship.  Told him I was going to bring my bike to have it done even though it doesn't need it if he could do that kind of work.  Little shop behind this guys house on 429 in Kaufman.  Oh, and did I mention how inexpensive the work was?

Did he say if he also did re-padding?  I've got a Corbin set that was "broken in" by the P.O., and would like to get it re-padded and recovered.  First place I called said they wouldn't do it because it's a Corbin. 

If you would, PM me your guy's contact info - it's a long way from Garland, but my wife's made it clear there's no more than a 2 hr ride until I do something about her comfort!

I have a Corbin seat that was on bike when I bought it. I continually slid forward on seat.
I found an upholsterer in old Irving who re-padded and recovered my seat. It looks great and I no longer slide forward.

WDAN - Dunno if he'll do the padding, but a few years ago I needed to have my Hartco recovered, and just walked into this little place here in Rowlett. I asked for a tackier covering so I wouldn't slide around to much, and he put one on it that's perfect. Might be worth dropping by and chatting with 'em, since you're in Garland.
