I have been kicking around the idea of running a 200/ 55 or 60 /16 rear tire on my bike. I want a wider tire for appearance reasons and I think a little more chub about back would look good. Im not into the crazy fat tires I just want to fill out the rear fender a little better. So, to those that have or are running one of these sizes or a little fatter, what do you think about it? Was there any adverse effect on how the bike  rides or did you even notice? I have also been thinking about lowering mu Valk 1.5"- 2" but I'll ask about that after I do a search for the info when I'm ready to pull the trigger on that.

Thanks again!

I am running a Metzeler 200/60, have noticed no difference in the ride or handling. Love the look. I didn't need to remove the nut cage, but I have heard some folks have on the 200 and car tires. I ride mostly 2up and run 45-48psi, if I run a lower psi the tire rubs a little on the drive shaft housing.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

When i had one i noticed no diff except increased off road traction. I had to do the nut cage mod. Better to do it now then after tire is on.
