I have a 2000 Standard. I use an independent shop for repairs who has a great MC mechanic . I recently had him put a new front tire on for me which he has done several times. When I picked up the bike he asked if I had hit something which might have bent the front fender. He showed me that the fender nearly rubs the tire on the left side in front but had a huge clearance on the right side. I told him no. He said he double checked everything and was sure the wheel was mounted correctly and noted that brake rotors lined up perfectly with calipers. It seems to handle ok but I am concerned that something is not right because in all the years I have owned this bike I have never had this happen. Any help on this would be appreciated.

If everything is mounted correctly sounds like somebody sat on the fender or something while he had the wheel off.

10-04 that, or they accidently run in it when going through the shop.

Loosen all the fender mounting bolts and give it a twist in the opposite direction and tighten it back up..

I did that once many many moons ago with MGM.

You can't tell it now or then.   cooldude Cheesy
