Help! 2003 Standard has set on the sidestand since last winter. The bike just sat in the garage. New battery installed today and bike started. Clutch side carb bank drain was puking fuel when running, mostly at idle. Rebuilt kit for petcock installed. Did not go into the tank/petcock filters. Bike is now running smoothly after much seafoam and cleaner.....but will not idle! You let go of the throttle and it shuts off. All the vac lines look okay. Tank lines not pinched. Bike likes to use the choke now to start no matter how warmed up it is.

1) On the petcock does the center section housing for the diaphram need to be 90 degrees from the vacuum line connection?
We used the petcock kit Honda 16953-MV9-000 , it was all we changed.

Any ideas?
TIA

Like Valker says, slow jets clogged, so not enough fuel to run at idle.

That's a sign that a carburetor float is not working properly.
