a well known riding spot here in Va. is Burkes Garden, the road up to it is full of curves and switch backs, a great motorcycle road....Burkes Garden is a bowl shaped area that sits on top of the mts. and is a farming and cattle community...on the backside of this area is a dirt road that is approx. 12 miles long, it too is a great motorcylce road...if you don't mind dirt and gravel, switchbacks and washouts...pretty exciting for a crusier, but alot of fun...the views back there are outstanding....I must admit riding dirt and gravel roads lately have really improved some of my riding skills...the road will teach you more about your bike and the handleing capabilities .... you'd be surprised what these motorcycles can do beside going fast and looking good....you can take it for a ride sometime instead of it taking you for a ride.
