I think Honda moly60 has a bad rap, I use it, but if you want to avoid it,
you can get a tub of 60% moly paste at Grangers if you have one near by.

I use Honda.  It's pricey, but haven't had a problem.  zero wear on the new splines a couple years ago.  Just did second tire change and zero visible wear.  I also change the o-rings every time tho.

That would be great. I searched around, trying to find some info...

http://www.belray.com/sir_tech?page=1

A lot of assembly lubes say "Moly", but it is hard to find out how much.

The belray apparently has 40% moly.

A lot of people put their final drives together with no-moly grease,
and have perfect success after 100K...

Never used moly paste in 143K and have zero wear. Bel Ray waterproof grease. I use Valvoline Durablend (3% moly) on the drive shaft and pinion cup.

I have used nothing but Del-Ray WATERPROOF wheel bearing grease for 243K+ miles on MGM, NO problems.

I have a tube of Swepco molly that I just used when I replaced the rear tire. If you haven't had any luck tracking some down I can talk to our vendor on Monday and see if there is one in your area.

Guard Dog is a supporter of this site. I believe this is mail or on-line ordering only. I have been using their product. Grainger's sells the Loctite Moly paste, I bought this product off Amazon for the same price that Grainger's wanted and it was shipped to the house. I used the Belray product years ago on my Yamaha Virago with no problems. Not sure why I have not continued to use it? I find the GD stuff is still spun out on the hub even though I replace the O-rings every spring with the rear end maintenance. The splines still seem to have lube on them. No matter what you use the main thing is you do it. A fellow valk rider in our club runs out west every summer. His rear end maintenance was always done by the dealer at tire time. He averages 20,000 miles on E3's. He lost his splines at about 100,000 miles. My guess is the Honda dealer used the Honda stuff and it did not hold up the to high temperatures of the desert road temps. He now has his splines lubed more often.
