I have a Doran 360M TPMS on my I/S that's two years old. I was just on a ride in Colorado and the darn thing would show faulty TPMS sensors whenever I was at altitude and cold. I ended up putting tape on the bright LED alarm indicator because it would drive me nuts when it was malfunctioning. I called the company and had a long discussion as I described the problem. They were clueless. Their only advice was to purchase two new TPMS sensors even though mine are only two years old. They say that the sensors are good for 4 years but they wouldn't stand behind them if they failed earlier. The sensors are $25 each.

I couldn't tell if it was the temperature or altitude that caused the sensor to stop responding. They work fine as long as I'm not at altitude but it's not very cool either. I've decided to keep the sensors and use them this year and wait for Fall or Winter to see if it's the cold that's affecting them.

Anyone here have a Doran 360M TPMS and had a similar experience, good or bad?

Join the club.  When I bought my 360M, I understood that the tire sensors would last two years.  Mine started to fail between one and two years.  A riding buddy had the same experience.  In looking up the phone number to have them replaced, I saw that Duran was advertising a four year life.   I have hopes that they are close to correct.  I took one of the old sensors apart, battery replacement is not possible.

My local service shop use to carry them. He had too many sensors fail so he dropped them.

I've been reading other board's threads on the Doran TPMS battery life issues. Five or so years ago they were touting a 5 year battery life. Then the failures started rolling in. The story became 4-5 year life, then 3-4 year. Now, when I contacted them and have a receipt showing a 2 year life they didn't give me the time of day. In the past they have sold 1/2 price replacements for customers with early failures so I'm going to try, one more time, get replacements at a something less than their full retail price.
