I have my Valk up on jack with swing arm hanging all way down. Do i need to take a racket strap on brake side and hold swing arm up more before tighening the 4 bolts. If so how far? Or can they be tightened with swingarm hanging down bottemed out wheel not on floor.

Its never  good to let the weight of the wheel and swing arm rest on that u-joint.  I would get a strap on it just for that reason.

If the axle is torqued to 81ft lbs already you can tighten the four bolts wherever the swing arm happens to be, Its jut not good to let it hang all the way down like that.

Did you have any problems getting the drive shaft back in hanging down like that?

DO not let it hang..   You can damage the joint.... Strapot up and take the pressure off the joint as you work on it...... I only let it drop enough to get the axel out....

You mount the tire first and get everything back together BEFORE you tighten the 4 bolts... Thats the last thing you do!   Saving it tip last makes sure every thing lines up correct.....

Anybody else chime in if I'm wrong on this, but doing it from memory and trying to type fast LOL

You asked.  The four bolts are done RIGHT after the axle nut. NOT LAST, there are many things left to do like put the shocks back on and bags if its a tourer or IS.  Some will take you at your word and do the 4 bolts LAST

ok I did have to raise the swingarm to get the driveshaft to go in u-joint but let bk. down. If i only strap the brake side swingarm up  to hold all up, would that throw anything out of line.?  Thanks
