I was at work Friday and saw another Valkyrie parked near our building at Southwood DOH.  I didn't have anything to leave a message so I am not sure who rode it in.   I did ride in today hoping I'd see the bike again, but I guess they didn't ride because of the rain.

At least now I know there is one more Valkyrie rider in town.   PM me if you on this board.  cooldude

You have a few on the board in your neck of the woods.
 Well the Panhandle anyway.
We are going to head up your way when the weather cools.
Would like to do an overnight up in the Panhandle and I think others would as well.
By all means, join in the fun on this board and join us when you can!

Greetings to you, Pappy's right, I'm out of the Pensacola area. I've been a newbie here pretty much, starting in Jan. when I bought my 98 Valk tourer. Love it lots. I do go to the chat board and did meet up w/ other riders when they were coming thru the area after InZane. We do have a few in here from the pan-handle that I talked to in the chat board. Ft Walton Beach, Crestview and Pen/Milton area. I actually passed thru Tally on Sat on my Valk headed to Jax. I have family in Tally and ride there occasionally. I'm on the Sedona Red/ Ivory color. My Seminole friends like it lots!  coolsmiley

Ha! Yes, growing up in Tally I have many Seminole friends. However I've been a "Gator" from day 1.  Cool You can imagine I've had somewhat of a difficult time. But all in fun! Maybe I'll see you guys when you get up towards the Panhandle. The Forgotten H'way (98) could be fun for you, going thru some small fishing towns. I'll be checking for when your making that trip.  cooldude be Safe!

Got a friend up there. He often flies off the the handle to other states on contract killin's. Evil
Bad job, but someone has to do it, I guess.
He's a traveling executioner. Shocked He's also an itinerant Pastor. Lips Sealed

I come to the Capitol every April, with 300 or so members of ABATE for a run, and to see our legislators.  You should join us.

I have the opposite situation being a rabid Seminole fan stuck in Ocala being just south from gatorville.  Roll Eyes The gator homers here in Ocala are over the top obnoxious.  Angry
My sister graduated from FSU in 1980 & used to get my father & I great student tickets to all the FSU home games. They played almost all the home games at night in the Doak & weren't tied to a conference schedule back then. Saw a lot of top notch college ball back when Bobby was building the program into the powerhouse it became!  cooldude Took lots of trips to Tally in those days rescuing my little sister from all kinds of predicaments. I went to USF but back then there was no football team there. We ALWAYS get tickets to the USF-FSU games & we were there when the Bulls played in gator stadium a few years back. So I guess I'm a dual FSU-USF fan!  Cool
Anyways the ride from Ocala to the Redneck Riviera starts out boring but picks up nicely at the coast. Panhandle Valk riders have a lot of choice riding areas in their backyard!

Here ya go all you gator fans!

+1 +1 Living in Ft. Walton Beach, became a 'Noles fan back in 1974. Should be another great season this year as well, if we can calm the "Kid" down a little!!

Shocked Gezzzz, I'd hate to see an "over the top obnoxious" FSU fan! LOL,  2funny I think you probably hold your own pretty well down in Ocala! Yes, the games were fun in my day like yours. The early mid 70's to 78 my dad, brother and I would go down to G'ville for a Gator game, usually noon-1 kick off then get back to Doak Campbell for the FSU game. We did that for 5-6 yrs. We still have our Gator seats after all these years! We got to see two Great Teams play live in one day. coolsmiley
If you join up with Pappy's ride to the pan-handle look for my Sedona Red & Cream tourer.

Regards

Thanks for the heads up, as I am google mapping this on 98 I see the red and yellow traffic warnings, oh well that won't stop me but extra care will be taken. We now are planning leaving Friday night to stay in Perry at the same H.I. Express i use every Monday for work. Then in morning follow 98/30 all the way to Seaside, any advantage to taking the loop around Panama City, 30A or would the Business 98/30 be doable around noon on a Saturday ? Thanks for any advise.

Hey,
If you take the back beach road it will make it a better ride to 30A.

Good luck!

Cheesy. I was in Tally today and it may have been you that I rode past over on Roberts Road. Between Micc Rd & Centerville Rd. It looked like your IS. May have been you?
