To all interested,

Willing to lead a ride on July 26th in honor of "The Great Misquito Festival" in Clute Texas. Recommend meeting at Jack in The Box on the east side of Hwy 288 and Hwy 6. KSU 9:30 am.

Familar route south to Rosharon. CR 42 to Crow Creek Rd to W. Columbia. The south on Hwy 36 to FM 332 to CR 400 back to Hwy 36. Then through Lake Jackson, Freeport and north on FM 523. Loop up to Alvin then to Webster for a lunch at Bombshells.

Willing to hear alternatives but as my good friend SmokinJoe says "Let's ride".

sounds possible, but it's so FAR to the meeting point for me (whine).  It'll probably take me 5 or 6 minutes to get there....

Someone told me that in Alaska, you can actually ride the "Misquito"s in their Festival Ride.

I of course will be ther with fresh air in my tires, full tank of gas both for the wing and.... I'll also be enjoying a cup of coffee. Probably won't wash the wing (don't want to shock everyone).

Let's ride.

I may try to join you for breakfast, but I don't think my injured (and reinjured!) shoulder will let me ride, darn it.  Hate to risk having it lock up at the wrong moment .....

Hello, I'm new here and planned to meet ya'll at the café but my job reared it's ugly head and I had to work. I now live in Garwood but when I was younger I did lots of flying around Alvin, Pearland, and Iowa Colony. I bought a 2000 Valkyrie 18 months ago and I know no local riders to go tripping with. As luck would have it this Saturday I'm free. When another ride comes around I will try my damnedest to be there.

Welcome to te asylum CDuster.   Glad to have you.  I live in Pearland.  Sorry you couldn't make it, but we have a Hill Country Ride In coming up in October in Fredericksburg on the 18th and 19th.

Hope you can make it.
