I've talked about 'levers' here before.  But, the 2014 Valkyrie has brake and clutch levers that are not the same as on the GW or the F6B.

I don't understand why.  The GW and F6B levers are 'adjustable', the Valk's are not.  ???  The cost differential is negligible.

Here's the question for those who may know :  Where'd the new Valkyrie's levers come from?  VTX1800?  I'd like to know.  Plan on changing the oems out and toss on some Ironbraid.

Called a local Honda dealer to have the parts guy check out the PN of the GL1800C (Valkyrie) levers.  Seems like they are Valkyrie specific according to the 3 letter designation in the middle of the PM.

Frankly, I find this odd ... maybe even beyond odd.  Sharing the same switch gear with the GW and F6B, why would Honda make some other, model specific levers for the Valk?  They have lots of these levers from 2001 to present day.  Why make some ugly aluminum clunky levers that really don't match the bike?

???

Anyway ..... I did order some Kuryakyn levers that were supposed to fit the GW.  That they may, but they do not fit the 2014 Valkyrie.  I had to hacksaw off a tab, which was no big deal.  Sent them off to Tony at Iron Braid for some leather!  The Kuryakyn levers are a bit thinner and longer than the oem's.  But, should look good with the Iron Braid fringe IMO.  I like fringe.   cooldude
