After the 8 hour near death experience I had with my HF Tire Changer and their crappy tire bar, I convinced myself that there is hope.  I'm thinking of getting a new tool to replace the crappy bar that comes with the HF tire changer.

I found three:
  • The Mojo Lever
  • The NoScuffTireTool
  • The No-Mar Bar

Does anyone use any of these?  which are better?

I am leaning towards the NoScuffTireTool, because this guy owns a Valkyrie and he made this tool out of frustration with other similar tools so I am assuming that he adressed whatever issues the other tools had.

Any thoughts?

Anything is going to be better than the HF tool. I have the NoScuff bar and it works pretty well. I haven't had any experience with other two.

I use the No Mar with my HF changer and am pleased.  It works well  with car or MC tires.  I have MO JO blocks installed on the HF changer also.

I use a Mojo lever and Mojoblocks on my HF changer. Both work well for me. I did
break the tip off my lever; but it was my fault. It was replaced free of charge.

It probably made some pretty crappy tasting wine anyway !!!

Oh, I have a NO-Mar bar, which works fine..thought it is indeed manual labor and I've used it on truck, car and at least a dozen MC tires, and a couple of Darkside removals/installs. Worth the money and comes with a set of replaceable tips.

+1...I also have the Mojo Lever and the Mojoblocks. Good stuff! Mitch, the seller of those products is a good guy to deal with.

No mar bar with a homemade changer. Love it. Isn't perfect but the more I use it the better I like it.

With my HF tire changer, I have been using the Mojo Lever and Mojoblocks for quite a while and have been pleased.

Last year, just to try it, I have purchased a NoScuff Tire Tool. I "seems" sturdier than the Mojo Lever and also works very well.

IMHO you need Mojo Blocks on your tire changer and a container of tire paste (not the liquid ... the paste). This will make life much easier for you.  Smiley

The lever? I have not tried No Mar but can tell you that you can't go wrong with either the Mojo Lever or the NoScuff Tire tool.

Good luck!  cooldude

Thanks all.  I went ahead and purchased the NoScuffTool and the Mojo Blocks.

Some great feedback here.   cooldude
