Summary of my new 2014 Valk purchase.:
- Test drove the F6B, I loved the engine, but not the colors
- Loved the old Valkyrie look, but the new 2014 radiator cowls didn't impress me right away
- I've learned to accept the cowls, especially with the blue Valkyrie. The color is AWESOME.
- Bought it from a dealer, paid $17,499 with 1.99% APR, $1,000 in accessories, and the extra year of HondaCare warranty.
- Received a $4,500 trade-in credit for my 2006 VTX1300C. I was thinking I would only get $4,000 max before I walked in.
- So far I absolutely love it. I've always wanted the sportbike power, but in a comfortable package.
I say the Valk is impossibly smooth with impossible power.
- I will post pictures of the saddlebags (smooth) and passenger backrest when I get them on it.
- Not sure how to insert pictures. I'll add once I figure it out.

Congrats  cooldude I was on the fence. Test rode a Valk and loved it. I just knew I'd want a fairing and hard bags. Test rode the F6B and knew that was the way for me. I bought a new 2013 Red one. That was another thing. I paid $15651 for the new F6B coolsmiley plus the $1000 accessories and the extra year Honda Care warranty.

You probably already know that Corbin is making bags for the Valk. No timeline though.

Sweet! I got a response!
You said Corbin is making bags. Will they be hard bags? If so, I hope they match the blue color. That would be what I'm ultimately looking for.

Yes , Corbin is reportedly working on hardbags for the new Valkyrie.

http://www.corbin.com/news/

"Also in the works you'll see we got our hands on the new 2014 Honda Valkyrie and have projects in the works there. We're taking a hard look at making saddlebags on this model as well as a couple saddle options.

Keep your eye on this page for more information as these new items develope! "

I'm sure they will look good and cost accordingly. cooldude No timeline on when they'll be available. I thought about it ,but I also wanted my tunes in a good looking fairing. The F6B just made sense.
I've got a Woody's fairing on my Valkyrie.

Hope GIVI will do hard bags, as it did before, for the new Valk.
Their bags are so wide that can hold an integral helmet, i.e. an Schubert Helme.
Givi did a soft trolley bag, nicely fitting (key locked) behind the passenger and easily removable.
Wait a while and see

Not a fan of the GIVI look. Look too much like suitcases. IMHO
