Sorry I can't make it this weekend. My son leaves next week to go back to his Army ROTC school so we will be doing a few day trips this weekend.  All choices sound like a good time.  Take a lot of pics.
Ride safe.

I'm out. We're riding up to St. Augustine for the weekend. We should be over at the Wild Turkey the next Saturday if that's still on.

I guess it's been decided.... http://www.harborlightsrestaurant.com/ it is.
They do not open until 12pm. So I think we will be arriving about that time, give or take a half hour.

Anyone wishing to join us the address is.... 907 C.R. 439B, Lake Panasoffkee, Florida 33538 - Exit 321 from Interstate 75, West on S.R.470 3 miles turn right onto C.R.439  Tele (352)-793-7058

I think we may as usual go by way of McDonald's on 41, and of course Brooksville. You may meet us at either of these places as well. BillyBoy will have a better idea of the timing of arrivals at these locations, if he would be so kind to post them.  Smiley

See ya then....

Well I was planning on making the ride but just got an email today from a friend doing some work on the house. He's coming over early Sunday to hopefully finish one job and continue the work on another. I can't help much(other than stay out of the way) but want to be here just in case something comes up. There will be other times I'm sure.

Well Jaymi and I got soaked coming home.   tickedoff  All was good till we hit Brooksville.
Making our way to Land O Lakes and not too bad, got to Gunn Hwy and it turned into a frog
choker. Could not see a thing and had to pull off at a gas station for awhile, but that's the fun of it,
I guess????   uglystupid2   Good call for the Harbor Lights Jaymi.   cooldude  Good food
and service we need to do it again. Great to see everyone and meet Adrerin (sp). Till next time.
Oh great now it's raining here. Jeezz Dude what did I do. I didn't mean it.

Sprinkles just as we left Lake Pan. Cleared up as we headed north, Pappy rode with me up to SR42 where he turned east. Looked like rain to the east & Pappy wanted to be behind it.
Totally clear for the ride home to the frozen north.

Nice day for a ride, no rain on the way in, just a couple of sketchy clouds in the far.
Made it to Harbor Light around 11:10, jumped on the Turnpike from Kissimmee to the restaurant, 1 hour and 45 min ride time with some side roads included.

The rest of the gang got to the restaurant around 11:45, I think, except for one that came in later but I am not going to mention any names  Evil Grin

Got to meet Adrian, he joined us for the first time, WELCOME ADRIAN.
Gary joined us as well, only met him once before.
We did the usual exchange of information and then we headed in for a great home cooked meal, Jaymi picked another good one  cooldude
It poured cats and dogs as we were eating, lightning included, by the time we finished and walked out, it was just a light drizzle.

I did not bother with rain gear, radar showed some rain but mostly clear once I hit the Turnpike.
Got a little wet but not much and nice and sunny (hot  laugh) the rest of the way home.

Larue, we missed you brother, hope you got your battery issue taken care off

Here are some mandatory pics, c u all next time  cooldude

Notice the nice parking job  cooldude Grin

This is after we ate and after the rain

Maybe he will chime in and introduce himself.

OK, good to add another member. The other Adrian is usually a cold weather visitor, can't imagine why since he's from Canada!  Wink

Work on the house went well, front porch done and drying. Back patio took a lot more work, man spent a good 5 hrs. on his knees back there and is only about half done. The portion he's done so far looks good, be glad when it's completed so I can do a little DIY construction.

cooldude This was a great call by Jaymi. Nice place for a gathering. Very enjoyable ride up with Jaymi, Billyboy, Papa G and Adrian out of Brandon. The dirt bike riding was fun; had not done that sense the last time I was on that road looking for a Webster shortcut! Thought of Gil on the haul road in Alaska while we trekked the short expanse of hard pan. A few sprinkles cut short the tire kicking arrival session and the meal gave time for some really hard rain, lightning to pass through while we dined on a pretty tasty buffet. The ride home south was pleasant with a few light showers. Nothing like Jaymi and Billy ran into; as we split at Hwy 50 & rt 301. Was blow dried by the time I pulled into the shop, to be followed by a more intense rain at home. Thanks for posting the photos Jack! As others can see by the pic's Harbor Lights provides a nice relaxing view of the lake and good parking.

Grin Nobleton Croom Rd. off of Croom Rital Rd. between Hwy 50 & Lake Lindsey Rd.. It runs along side of the Withlacoochee State Forest. It's only a few mile section, not bad. As I mentioned, I had been on it once looking for a back way running parallel to rt. 301. I'm sure I'll take it again trying to or not. Hey, a little change up is fun every once in a while!
